PUPILS FROM NGUYỄN DU ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN HANOI PARTICIPATED IN THE HERITAGE EDUCATION PROGRAM
Ms. Quynh Lien, teacher of class 3B at Nguyễn Du Primary School said: “I had the idea to organize for students to participate in educational experiences at Văn Miếu 2 years ago. Because of the Covid epidemic, we had to postpone until now. Today, my students attended the heritage education program "Finding holy animals on ancient architectural works". I found this program very interesting and useful. I will continue to book other educational programs next time”. She was very happy because her students learned useful things from the program such as: the history of Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám, the studious tradition, especially understanding the meaning of the holy animals on ancient architectural works of Văn Miếu.
The program is designed as an interesting game on ipad. They played as a guide and suggestion for students during the journey "Finding holy animals on the ancient architecture at the Văn Miếu ". They worked in group to overcome the challenges of the game together to identify and find the holy animals that were decorated on the architecture works at Văn Miếu. Through the games, they learned about 6 mascots: dragon, Nghe, pheonix, Tiger, carp and bat.
