“WE PRESERVE STONE STELAE TOGETHER”

Students from EVE camping trip were interesting in the heritage education program at Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam. They participated in “Discover the stone stelae” program, playing the role of researchers in looking at the precious documents which are registered as The World Documentary Heritage..

The students researched many things from the stone stelae, including  learning about the Confucianism exams, the era of stone’s creation and the meaning of the various sculptural elements.....The students have recognized the importance of their responsibilities for preserving the precious historical documents. The students have vowed to not touch the head of tortoise, or write or draw the stone stelae anymore. This was part of the message from the heritage education day to students – who are the future owners and leaders of the country.

Ending the day on a high with  students leaving the Stelae with new knowledge and beautiful artworks.
