EXHIBITION " PROLEGOMENON TO THE TRADITION OF EDUCATION IN VIETNAM " - MODERN STYLE ATTRACTING YOUTH

    The exhibition " Prolegomenon To The Tradition Of Education In Vietnam " tells the life stories and contributions to the country of four eminent figures: Lý Thánh Tông, Lý Nhân Tông, Lê Thánh Tông, and Chu Văn An, with modern presentation language, elegant style, and harmonious colors.

    The exhibition showcases over 300 artifacts divided into four main contents and arranged into four spaces introduced according to the historical lineage of each figure. The information is concise, yet ensuring the authenticity of historical value and is carried out in three languages: Vietnamese, English, and French.

    The exhibition content aims particularly to attract young people in applying information technology and digital techniques. Through interactive forms such as QR codes for easy lookup arranged logically on display tables, young visitors can use smartphones to access more useful information such as: the examination subjects organized in each dynasty; information about famous scholars such as Lương Thế Vinh, Thân Nhân Trung, etc.; and the regimes of talent appreciation such as award banquets, robe banquets, ceremonies honoring ancestors, etc.

    The color schemes used in the exhibition space such as earthy brown, grey, green... along with the warm yellow light properly illuminate enough light for readers, evoking memories of past dynasties. The literary works of the eminent figures in Chinese characters, Nom characters are expressed on elegant silk materials by young calligraphers and are displayed very gracefully. Images arranged in warm yellow light have also become picturesque check-in corners with a classic appeal that attracts creatively artistic young people.

    Artifacts such as scholars' study tables or royal study room tables serve to spread the spirit of striving for learning across all social classes within the feudal administrative system. The section displaying the timeline has brought back major events related to the Temple of Literature – the Imperial Academy through successive dynasties, and is also associated with each honored figure.
