[Upcoming Event] EXHIBITION " PROLEGOMENON TO THE TRADITION OF EDUCATION IN VIETNAM "
On February 5th, 2024, Center for the Scientific and Cultural Activities Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám will hold the opening ceremony for the exhibition "Prolegomenon To The Tradition Of Education In Vietnam " at the Thái Học House, within the special national landmark Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám.
More than 300 archival documents, divided into 4 main sections, will be presented chronologically to recreate the lives and contributions of King Lý Thánh Tông, King Lý Nhân Tông, King Lê Thánh Tông, teacher Chu Văn An, and influential figures such as Queen Y Lan, scholar Lê Văn Thịnh, Thân Nhân Trung, Lương Thế Vinh, etc.
The exhibition also connects its content with the exhibition "Quốc Tử Giám - The First National University", forming a coherent narrative, helping the public gain a better understanding of the history and development of Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám, and the educational achievements of Vietnam's Confucian-based education system during the feudal period.
The exhibition will become a permanent display space at the special national monument of Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám. Don't miss out, everyone
