THE FORIEGNER TOURISTS BEING FASCINATIED WITH THE WORKSHOP OF SILK SCREEN PRINTING AND LATEX SCREEN PRINTING AT VĂN MIẾU - QUỐC TỬ GIÁM
The workshop of silk screen printing and latex screen printing to welcome a Lunar New Year 2024 attracted a plenty of foriegners tourists among participants paying a visit at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.
Taking part in the workshop, the tourists using the artists's directions to make a printing themselves.

According to artist Lê Thị Thanh, the technical printing pretty simple for kids. The makers could use inkk and knife to brush leftovers off then ink would be combinated in paper through the small holes. In order to make a perfect printing, the artists created the handicraft screen printing, applied the special methods to shot the screen printing as well as all holes. The final steps applied by tourists to complete a printing.
The method of latex screen printing is more difficult. The makers roll the ink over the block to cover ink along the side of the block. Every step applied curiously and subtainably and skillfully to complete the bold shades.
The pictures of the constructions and the creatures and the ancient decorations such as: Khuê Văn Các, the building of bell as well as drum of Thai Hoc courtyard, the stone brush pen, arched roof top, lotus,Bao Tien flower, Nghe, animals.....used to embossed on the block to make significant printings.
Moreover, there were a lot of nomal decorations such as: dragonfly, butterfly, 12 zodiac animals conform to the younger making any pictures they loved.
The method of silk screen printing and latex screen printing founded in the beginning of 20 century then became the favourite ones of international art printing. The workshop of silk screen printing and latex screen printing attracted many attentions of foriegners, made the interference of culture at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám during the final days of the year.
