LET'S LOOK FORWARD TO 'ĐỒNG VỌNG'" (LONGING FOR TRADITIONAL VALUES IN VIETNAMESE ART AND CULTURE) GRAPHIC EXHIBITION OPENING AT VĂN MIẾU-QUỐC TỬ GIÁM
On the afternoon of October 12th, at the Thái Học House, Văn Miếu-Quốc Tử Giám, the opening ceremony of the graphic exhibition "Đồng vọng" will take place.
Through the arrangement of printed paintings, "Đồng vọng" aims to lead viewers into the story of the ancient and modern educational journey in our country. It portrays the spirit of perseverance within each individual through the challenges and hardships in their academic careers and the success of past scholars. It celebrates the joyful day of paying homage to our ancestors.
In addition, there are artworks that express dialogue and love for heritage, the ancient legacy of our ancestors, through artistic representations such as Tiên nữ (fairy), kites, communal houses, and lotus flowers.
Within the traditional atmosphere of Văn Miếu-Quốc Tử Giám, the exhibition will bring graphic art closer to the audience of the capital city, domestic and international visitors. It adds its own voice, from distant memories to current awareness, to create a harmonious composition using the language and sounds of lines, strokes, and various printing techniques on different materials.
Come and experience "Đồng vọng" and feel the encounter between the new aspects of graphic art and the traditional values of our nation!
