IMPRESSIONS OF THE EXHIBITION "DIALOGUE WITH THE HÀNG TRỐNG FOLK PAINTING" AT VĂN MIẾU
Visitors coming to the exhibition "Dialogue with the Hàng Trống folk painting" have the opportunity to admire artworks created on various materials such as silk, lacquer, Dó paper, oil paint, and Hàng Trống folk paintings on Dó paper.
As young art enthusiasts, Lưu Thị Nhật Quyên and Nguyễn Thị Trang (from Hanoi) share: "Visiting the exhibition, we have the chance to see many Hàng Trống folk paintings and creative works inspired by this folk painting genre.
Sharing their impressions of the exhibition, Nguyễn Văn Thường expresses: "I am very impressed with the colors of the paintings. The artistic creations are also meticulously crafted by the artists."
The exhibition "Dialogue with the Hàng Trống folk painting" is organized by the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám in collaboration with painting collectors, folk painting artists, and a group of young artists from the project "From tradition to tradition".
The exhibition aims to promote the beauty of this unique folk painting genre to art lovers, especially the younger generation. It is also an opportunity to introduce artistic products that have been crystallized from the exploration of the artistic values of the Hàng Trống painting heritage in particular, and the traditional cultural heritage of the nation in general.
The exhibition will run until July 31st at Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám historical site.
