OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION “DIALOGUE WITH THE HÀNG TRỐNG FOLK PAINTING”
On the afternoon of July 6th, the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám, in coordination with painting collectors, folk painting artists, and young artists from the project "From Tradition to Tradition," held the opening of the exhibition "Dialogue with the Hàng Trống Folk Painting " at the Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám historical site.
The exhibition presents 67 outstanding artworks, including 38 works created on various materials such as silk, lacquer, Do paper, oil paint, and 29 Hàng Trống folk paintings on Do paper. The content of these artworks reflects the unique aspects of Vietnamese cultural and religious life.
Visitors to Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám historical site can freely explore the exhibition from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, starting from July 6th to July 31st, 2023.
