EXCHANGE OF COMPOSING IDEAS FOR THE EXHIBITION OF “CALLIGRAPHY AND GRAFFITI DIALOGUE”
AT VĂN MIẾU – QUỐC TỬ GIÁM
This morning, in preparation for the Exhibition of "Calligraphy and Graffiti Dialogue" taking place in 2022 at the landmark, the Organizing Committee and artists from Đà Nẵng, Hồ Chí Minh City and Hà Nội met and exchanged ideas for the works displayed in the exhibition at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.
The exhibition is a combination of Calligraphy Art and Graffiti Art for artists from three regions of the country. They create works on traditional items such as nón (traditional hats of Vietnamese woman), paper fans, and bamboo curtain, wooden sliding doors, lanterns… The Organizing Committee hopes that the artists would have ideas to create the unique works with the exchange and blending of Calligraphy and Graffiti made from traditional materials.
The young artists were very excited with the requirements from the Organizing Committee, and considered it was an interesting challenge to have satisfactory works combining Calligraphy and Graffiti. It would be an interesting exhibition in the near future at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.
