On October 10, 2018, the Opening Ceremony of the photography exhibition entitled “Hanoi In My Heart - 2018-Villages and Streets of Traditional Craft” was organized at Bái Đường Courtyard in the Special National Landmark, Văn Miếu-Quốc Tử Giám.

This year marks the 13th year this photography exhibition has been hosted. During early years, the exhibition was held on a small scale by the members of Hanoi Photography Club for the Elderly. For the 8th annual exhibition, the Club cooperated with “Kinh tế & Đô thị News” to hold future exhibitions, and from then on, the exhibition has become a popular annual events of the Capital. This year, on the occasion of 64 years of Liberation Day of the Capital, Kinh tế & Đô thị News collaborated with Photography Club for the Elderly and the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam to hold the exhibition entitled “Villages and Streets of Traditional Craft”. On display were 80 photos that reflect everyday life of craftsmen and also their work in the villages and streets of Hanoi.
The photos cover three topics: “Craft streets”, “Fine Arts and Crafts”, and “Food and Drinks. The photos on display represent the best photos by the members of the Club, as well as, reporters and collaborators of Kinh tế & Đô thị News. Many of whom have won prestigious prizes in big competitions.

The exhibition is a great chance for visitors to find out about the distinction of Hanoi traditional crafts. Moreover, the event offered an opportunity for photographers to meet and share their photographic experience, and also express their love for Hanoi.
The exhibition is open from October 9- October 13 at Bái Đường Courtyard, the Special National Landmark Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam.
