The 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Hanoi and Ile-de-France took place at the Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Hanoi and Ile-de-France (France), at an invitation of Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung, Mrs. Valérie Pécresse-Chairwoman of the Ile-de-France region as well as The head of the delegation of Ile-de-France region, visited and worked in Hanoi from 15-17, July.

on the evening of July 16, at the Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam, Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung and Mrs. Valérie Pécresse attended the 30th anniversary to celebrate diplomatic relations between Hanoi and Ile-de-France.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung, leaders of Departments in Hanoi and Mrs. Valérie Pécresse along with other high-ranking delegates from Ile-de-France visited the Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam – an outstanding landmark of Hanoi, also a symbol of traditional fondness for learning of Vietnam.

After that, Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung and Ms. Valérie Pécresse met with the news agencies at Tien Duong House, Thai Hoc area of ​​the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam. Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung affirmed: “we fully believe that the relationship between Hanoi and Ile-de-France in the coming time will be developed to a higher level actively, effectively and sustainably ”.

The Chairman and Chairwoman along with delegates paid a visit to a photo exhibition to celebrate the relations between Hanoi and the Ile-de-France region at Thai Hoc yard. Speaking at the anniversary, Mrs. Valérie Pécresse emphasized, “I was touched by the ancient beauty here. Today, we signed an exhibition program between the Cite medievale de Provins and  the Thang Long Imperial Citadel. I also hope that in the future, Ile-de-France region and the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam will also have such cooperative agreements ”.
