Let's await the Calligraphy Festival of the Year of the Tiger 2024

Every year, around the 24th day of the twelfth lunar month, the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám organizes the Spring Calligraphy Festival at Văn lake, the historical site of Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám. The Văn Miếu Spring Calligraphy Festival, with its traditional nature, showcases the cultural beauty of the nation and has become a familiar event for the people of the capital every Lunar New Year.

This year's Spring Calligraphy Festival features nearly 40 calligraphers who have all participated in a previous selection process to join the Spring Calligraphy Festival of the Year of the Tiger 2024, meeting the demand for written characters from locals and visiting tourists. The festival also hosts various cultural activities such as calligraphy exhibitions, calligraphy performances, traditional arts (folk singing, traditional opera), folk games, and traditional stalls.

The traditional atmosphere of the Spring Calligraphy Festival is evident in its decoration, promising that the Year of the Tiger 2024 Spring Calligraphy Festival will become a culturally attractive event and a destination for checking in and experiencing the ideal traditional Vietnamese Tet culture for young people and visitors from all directions.

We invite you to admire the images of the Spring Calligraphy Festival from previous years and look forward to the Year of the Tiger 2024 Spring Calligraphy Festival at Văn lake, Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám, starting from the 3rd day of February 2024 (which is the 24th day of the twelfth lunar month in the Year of the Wood Horse).
