THE COMBINATION OF TRADITIONAL “ÁO DÀI” AND PROJECTION MAPPING IN THE PERFORMANCE AT VĂN MIẾU – QUỐC TỬ GIÁM.
“Áo dài”art performance of “Nơi tôi sinh ra”taken place in the magnificient space of the relic. The combination of projection mapping and traditional “áo dài”designed by well-known designers in the area.
17 designers brought “áo dài” collection being diversify in style. Every collection expressed the individual features of every locals in which the designers born and grew up, in the same time the collections integrating into stories and opinion and private memory of every designer.
PhD. Lê Xuân Kiêu – A Director of the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities shared that “This is the first activity to welcome a new year, to warm-up combination projects of night tour and other cultural activities in order to increase service for experimentation for tourists”.

in the show, designer Minh Hanhj introduced Áo dài collection made of brocade - the signal of people in Pleiku of Vietnam. Designer Thanh Thủy showed her collection with decorations of Ban flower - a speciality of Điện Biên in Vietnam. Designer Công Huân made a collection with a speciality of Saigon in Vietnam.
Hanoi city with a thousand year culture becoming an aspiration for designer Cao Minh Tiến's collection showing the collection of sketch of Hanoi. Designer Trịnh Bích Thủy told the story of winter in Hanoi through her collection combinating quitled shirt; Designer Duy Nguyễn brought the story of town Hanoi with the hadicraft characteristic collection of Thạch Xá craft village.; Designer Chế Quyết showed the collection of specific colorful decorations of Bát Tràng ceramic village.
