HONORING INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS WHO HAVE MADE POSITIVE CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ARTS AT HANOI GRAPEVINE'S FINEST 2022-2023 AND AT THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE EXHIBITION OF THE GRAPEVINE SELECTION AT THE VĂN MIẾU – QUỐC TỬ GIÁM LANDMARK
On the evening of May 26th, at the Special National Landmark Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám, the ceremony to honor Hanoi Grapevine's Finest 2022-2023 and the opening ceremony for the exhibition of The Grapevine Selection took place.
Hanoi Grapevine's Finest is an annual event that honors contemporary art activities in Vietnam, initiated by Hanoi Grapevine and the Proactive Audience Network (PAN) in 2019. The event aims to honor individuals, organizations, projects, and creative artistic activities that have been and are continuing to create a diverse, open, and pioneering cultural and artistic environment. This contributes to a heightened awareness and empathy for culture and the arts, helping individuals connect with themselves and the community, and making life more meaningful and beautiful.
With the desire to transform Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám into a creative space where creative activities are organized and innovative products are exhibited, Dr. Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám, said: “Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám will continue to honor organizations, individuals, and projects that have made significant contributions to the community in terms of culture and art. Based on cultural values, which are considered the root of Vietnamese education, we hope that creative individuals will continue to flourish and contribute more to the community. Their works will be a source of inspiration, giving us hope for the future of Vietnam's cultural and artistic life”.
This is the fourth year that Hanoi Grapevine's Finest has been organized. At the event, the organizers awarded gifts from sponsors and certificates to artists, individuals, projects, and artistic activities that have had a positive impact on the community.
Alongside the honoring ceremony was the opening of The Grapevine Selection exhibition. Its purpose is to bring exemplary value to the public and collectors. The Grapevine Selection focuses on providing opportunities for young, talented artists and those who continuously innovate and creatively express themselves.
