MISS TOURISM WORLD 2022 VISITED VĂN MIẾU – QUỐC TỬ GIÁM
On the morning of December 6, 2022, Miss Tourism World 2022 paid a visit and experienced the heritage at the Special National Landmark of Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám. This was a part of the journey to discover landscapes, cultural and historical sites in Hanoi organized by the contest organizers in collaboration with the Hanoi Department of Tourism.
Accompanying the delegation was Mr. John Singh - President of Miss Tourism World Organization. Welcoming the delegation at Văn Miếu-Quốc Tử Giám relic, there were Mr. Trần Trung Hiếu - Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism and Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tú - Deputy Director of the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.
The members of the delegation were very interested in visiting a relic with many trees, grass and ancient buildings with a long history and culture fromthousands of years of civilization. Miss Philppine said: “I am at the Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám - the first university in Vietnam. I love culture so I love to learn about your culture and history through the Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam landmark. I participated in the woodblock printing experience here. I have printed by myself ancient Chinese characters engraved on the Doctor's stele - The World Documentary Heritage on Do paper, a traditional Vietnamese paper”.
In Hanoi, the contestants will visit Hoàn Kiếm Lake, Văn Miếu-Quốc Tử Giám, and Thăng Long Imperial Citadel. The contestants will make short clips introducing these tourist destinations in their own language or English. Thereby, the information about Vietnam's tourist and heritage destinations will be spread widely, creating a strong and quick effect to the 71 countries of the contestants.
The visiting with typical souvenirs from Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám and Vietnam's traditional culture will be unforgettable memories for the contestants from many countries around the world. – Tourism Ambassadors of Vietnam.
