2022 VALLET SCHOLARSHIP AWARD CEREMONY FOR EXCELLENT STUDENTS AND POSTGRADUATES IN THE NORTH
On the morning of September 8, 2022, at the Special National Landmark of Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám, the Vietnam Science and Education Rendezvous Organization held a ceremony to award the 2022 Vallet scholarships for the top students and postgraduates in the North.
Attending the Scholarship Award Ceremony were: Prof. Trần Thanh Vân - President of the Vietnam Science and Education Rendezvous Organization, Prof. Lê Kim Ngọc – University of Paris; Dr. Nguyễn Bích Hà - Chairman of the Scholarship Approval Board for outstanding students and postgraduates in the North, Mrs. Sofi Maysonnare - Advisor to the French Embassy on cultural cooperation and activities, Prof. Patrick Auche – Vice President of the Vietnam Science and Education Rendezvous Organization … as well as and many other leaders from universities, research institutes and 152 top students and postgraduates representing the students at training institutions the Northern provinces.
The program awarded 152 scholarships, each worth 26 million VND and a certificate from the Vietnam Science and Education Rendezvous Organization. For over 20 years, the Vietnam Science and Education Rendezvous Organization has organized meetings, conferences, and summer classes in Vietnamese cities, creating many opportunities for Vietnamese science to access the advanced sciences of the world.
This is the 22nd year, the Vietnam Science and Education Rendezvous Organization has awarded the Vallet Scholarship to top students. It is mainly sponsored by Prof. Odon Vallet, a Doctor of Jurisprudence and Doctor of History of Philosophy from the Sorbonne University - a famous university in Paris (France).

Making a speech at the awards ceremony, Prof. Trần Thanh Vân - President of the Vietnam Science and Education Rendezvous Organization, expressed that students were the hope and future of the nation. These scholarships are motivation to help them constantly strive, develop, and attain higher achievements.
Tô Anh Đức, representing 152 students and postgraduate said, “By awarding tens of thousands of scholarships to Vietnamese students, they have helped us to alleviate financial worries, so we can focus more on our studies. The scholarship has inspired us to be able to help others and contribute more to society.”
