TOURISM BUSINESS MEETING 2019 PROGRAM

Mrs. Ngo Minh Hoang –  Vice Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism; Mr. Truong Minh Tien – former  Vice Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sport; Mr. Le Xuan Kieu -  Director of Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam and delegates from 30 local tourism businesses  attended.

Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam is a unique cultural and historical site of Hanoi, a well – known tourist site which attracts many domestic and foreign tourists. Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam was recognized as a point of tourism in Hanoi City in 2019. Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam has been recognized as a unique destination and has been rated by prestigious tourism organizations for many years.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Xuan Kieu evaluated the result of preservation and the value of this landmark as part of the development plan for Van Mieu  in 2019 and the near future.

Under the framework of the program, the Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism, the Director of Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam took counsel together and answered questions from tourism businesses concerned about State management practices and how best to promote tourism of the landmark.

Tourism businesses offered suggestions for the Center in the near future. The opinions focused on completing tourism products and raising quality of service and training human resources. In their opinions, there is a need for integration with high technology to help tourists experience the value of history, and culture of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam clearly. On the other side, there is a need for a connection with tourism businesses to advertise educational, scientific and cultural activities at the landmark.

On behalf of the leaders of Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam, Mr. Le Xuan Kieu thanked the tourism businesses who attended the program.  , Mr. Le Xuan Kieu shared that: “In the near future, the Center will try to connect with tourism businesses to produce  modern services for tourists to keep pace with the value of national culture around the world. We expect that there will be a stable layout which shows the history of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam and history of Vietnam education and examination, and the process of study of Confucian students on the site. We hope that Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam will always be a quality destination for the nation”
