VICE PRESIDENT OF RMIT UNIVERSITY VISITED VĂN MIẾU – QUỐC TỬ GIÁM
On the morning of June 27, 2022, Professor Tim Marshall, Vice President of RMIT University, visited Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.
Exploring the historical site with nearly 1000 years of history, Professor Tim Marshall spent a considerable amount of time admiring ancient architectural structures such as Khue Van Pavilion, Đại Trung Gate, and Đại Thanh Sanctuary. He showed particular interest in the 82 doctoral steles - World Documentary Heritage, along with the educational system of Confucianism in Vietnam.
At the Thái Học House, Professor Marshall expressed deep admiration and gratitude for the life and career of Chu Văn An, a distinguished teacher in the Vietnamese nation.
During the visit, leaders of the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám and Professor Tim Marshall engaged in sincere exchanges, sharing insights, and discussing potential collaborations to promote the development of the monument. The goal is to transform the historical site into a creative space with wide-reaching influence, bringing it closer to the public.
