THE CONTEST “COMPOSING WORKS ON TEACHER CHU VĂN AN”-AN EVENT FOR THE CREATIVITY OF STUDENTS

When participating in the contest, the students spent a lot of time on searching information and actively collecting documents about the life and career of teacher Chu Văn An.

The students who are good at literature and drawing have formed groups and written picture stories. They use their imagination to draw teacher Chu Văn. The content of these stories is about touching stories about teacher Chu Văn An and his students.

For students who love to make models, they have chosen to make simulations where Chu Văn An worked, including his hometown in Thanh Trì , Quốc Tử Giams school, Phượng Hoàng mountain, ... Those models may be one of the most attractive products of the contest.

In addition to the content, the form is also paid much attention by the students. There are many different forms such as writing, poetry, storytelling, skits, film editing, drawing, comic creation, pattern, lantern, calligraphy ...

The materials used by students to make the products are abundant. Many products are made by using new technologies such as: cartoons or video clips that are made with computers and smartphones. Along with that,  there are also products that children use simple materials like rice, beans, ceramic fragments, paper ... With their own creativity, the students have turned those familiar materials into unique products.

As an encouragement and motivation for students, many schools have awarded Group and Individual Awards to the students for their unique products. Their products are also on display at the schools so that other students have the opportunity to see. After that, these products will be sent to the Final Round of the contest “Composing works on teachers Chu Văn An” which will took place at the Văn Miếu-Quốc Tử Giám in mid-November.

Below are unique products by students.
