THE OLD CLASSROOMS
Joining the footsteps of the 6A4 students from Ngô Sĩ Liên Secondary School, participating in the heritage education program with the theme “The Old Classrooms” at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.
With survey, the students observe and explore artifacts in the exhibition room such as textbooks, clothing, quills, inkwells, etc., to understand the learning methods of ancient scholars and compare them with contemporary learning methods.
Experiential activities, such as grinding Chinese ink, practicing writing with feather pens on Dó paper, and printing ancient Chinese characters, greatly captivated the young participants. Through these activities, the students not only gained knowledge about ancient Chinese characters, one of the scripts used by their ancestors in education and exams in the past, but also developed skills such as investigation, teamwork, perseverance, etc.
