CONTINUE THE TRADITION
Making incense - offering at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám is an annual activity held by former students from different high schools in Hanoi. Especially, this year they came with their childs for incense – offering ceremony and heritage education activity at the site.
Beginning was incense – offering ceremony at Thái Học courtyard in which honoring Chu Văn An. After that, the childs could make handmade traditional products by themselves with printing wood blocks. The childs could have deep understanding about cultural value of the site that made their parents’ happiness.
All members had idea to organize educational and cultural activities for their childs so that they chose Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám with green space and interesting educational activities for childs.
Mrs. Trần Thị Phương shared that she was touched to make incense – offering ceremony at Văn Miêu – Quốc Tử Giám. It was an opportunity to have deep understanding about great traditions of a nation for young people.
