WHEN CHILDREN LEARN GEOMETRY AT VĂN MIẾU
On the morning of April 2, 2025, Budslink Kindergarten students participated in a heritage education program at the Văn Miếu —Quốc Tử Giám, with the theme "Exploring Geometry through the Architecture of the Khuê Văn Pavilion."
The program helped the children learn about cultural heritage by observing and identifying geometric shapes in the architecture of the Khuê Văn Pavilion. The children listened to an introduction, followed the structure, participated in movement games to recognize shapes, and especially enjoyed an activity where they printed images of the Khuê Văn Pavilion using Lego pieces assembled into the structure.
Teacher Corentin from the school shared his thoughts after the visit:"Today all the children had a wonderful experience at the Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám site. They not only learned about Vietnam's first university but also had the chance to explore the unique architecture of the Khuê Văn Pavilion. I was especially impressed to see how excited the children were to participate in the activities and create their works. Thank you to the staff at the heritage site for organizing such a fun and educational program!"
The experience ended with bright smiles as the children proudly took home their creations. The program provided valuable learning and sparked an early love for cultural heritage.
