JOURNEY OF DISCOVERING THE DOCTORAL STELE OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN
On the morning of March 25th, in the ancient space of Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám, the senior kindergarten students of 20/10 Preschool participated in a heritage education program themed "Exploring the Doctoral Steles." Though the topic may seem complex, the activities were designed to be engaging and age-appropriate for young children.
Under the guidance of heritage education staff, the children not only listened to stories about the Doctoral Steles but also had the chance to observe them firsthand, ask questions, and take part in woodblock printing activities using patterns from the steles. This interactive approach sparked their curiosity, making learning both exciting and memorable.
Ms. Hà Kim Chi, the class teacher, shared:
"Today, the children were thrilled to see in real life the images we had introduced in class. The heritage education staff provided thorough explanations, ensuring the children could fully engage with the experience. They were excited, happy, and able to remember key aspects of the topic and the site itself. Many thanks to the site management team!"
Thanks to this well-crafted educational program, the Doctoral Steles—historically regarded as an academic heritage—became a vivid world of discovery, where preschoolers could learn in an enjoyable and meaningful way. This experience helped instill in them a sense of appreciation for culture and history from an early age.
Take a look at some adorable moments from their learning adventure!
