EXPERIENCE BECOMING A CONFUCIAN STUDENT IN AN ANCIENT CLASSROOM AT VĂN MIẾU - QUỐC TỬ GIÁM
Recently, students from class 8C of Trần Mai Ninh Secondary School (Thanh Hóa) participated in a heritage education program themed "Ancient Classroom" at Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám.
In the historic setting, the students had the opportunity to play the role of ancient scholars, learning about the tradition of respecting teachers and valuing education. They experienced grinding ink, holding a brush, and practicing basic calligraphy strokes on dó paper.
Student Bùi Đức An shared: "We really enjoyed listening to the introduction about the historical site and experiencing grinding ink ourselves. Through this, we learned the virtues of patience and perseverance. It was our first time writing on dó paper, and we loved it."
