VISIT TO VĂN MIẾU - EXPERIENCING THE ANCIENT CLASSROOM
Recently, 7th-grade students from The Dewey Schools (Hai Phong), a bilingual school, participated in an educational program on the theme of athe old classrooms at Văn Miếu-Quốc Tử Giám.
Within the traditional thatched-roof classroom space, the students took on the roles of ancient students, delving into the values of respecting teachers and honoring moral principles. They experienced ink grinding, handled brush pens, and practiced writing basic characters on Dó paper.
Students Doãn Lê Yến Nhi and Nguyễn Vũ Ngọc Diệp said: "We really enjoyed learning about the historical site, personally experiencing ink grinding, and, through this, we learned qualities such as perseverance and resilience. It was our first time writing on Dó paper, and we loved it."
