OPENING OF THE ART EXHIBITION "ATTIRE - CUISINE - FESTIVALS" AT VĂN MIẾU - QUỐC TỬ GIÁM HERITAGE SITE
On the afternoon of November 15, 2024, the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Văn Miếu —Quốc Tử Giám, in collaboration with the creative enterprise TiredCity, officially opened the November Art Exhibition, "Attire—Cuisine—Festivals." This exhibition offers a rich perspective on the cultural diversity of Vietnam's ethnic groups.
The exhibition aims to inspire all those who love and want to explore traditional identities. It showcases 78 illustrated artworks by five young artists. The works feature meticulous studies of the culture of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups, including their attire, cuisine, and festivals. Combined with modern artistic styles, the exhibition presents a unique cultural exploration across Vietnam's 63 provinces and cities. Each painting tells a story that connects the past with the present, highlighting the vibrant cultural diversity and enduring traditions of Vietnam's ethnic communities.
Additionally, visitors can participate in interactive experiences, including a unique opportunity to "check in" with illustrations of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups through the Vietnamese Ethnic Attire collection.
