OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION "ĂN MIẾU - QUỐC TỬ GIÁM"- THE CREATIVE SPACE OF HANOI" IN CÀ MAU
In celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, on the morning of October 29, 2024, the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám, in collaboration with the Cà Mau Provincial Museum, organized the opening of the exhibition "Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám - The Creative Space of Hanoi" at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Area in Cà Mau City.
The exhibition showcases the particular national heritage site of Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám, located in the heart of Hanoi, which embodies and preserves the nation's valuable traditions: the fondness of learning, respect for teachers, the importance of recognizing talent, and activities aimed at promoting heritage values, with a vision to transform into a creative center of Hanoi.
The exhibition is divided into two main parts: the first part introduces the unique values of the Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám, and the second part presents activities aimed at establishing the site as a creative hub for the capital.
Within the framework of the exhibition, educational heritage activities were also organized to help students and young people learn about the history of Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám and the history of Vietnam's educational examination system in an engaging and lively manner.
The exhibition helps the people of Cà Mau Province, as well as visitors from across the country, gain a deeper understanding of the Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám, which was once the most significant educational center for nurturing talents in Vietnam during the monarchical period. At the same time, it contributes to preserving the cultural and academic traditions of the nation. It encourages a spirit of learning among the younger generation in Cà Mau to bring heritage closer to the people in all regions of the country.
