EXHIBITION DISPLAYS OUTSTANDING ENTRIES OF 12TH VIETNAM ART PHOTO CONTEST
Outstanding entries of the 12th Vietnam Art Photo Contest are being displayed at an exhibition at the Temple of Literature in Hanoi on March 13, 2023
Hosted by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) and sponsored by the International Federation of Photographic Art (Fédération internationale de l'art photographique, FIAP) and the Image Without Frontier (Image sans Frontière - ISF)
With four categories of "free theme in color," "free theme in monochrome," "Children's" (both color and monochrome), and "Creative" (both color and monochrome), the contest has attracted 10,330 works by 1,079 authors from 32 countries and territories.
With 4 themes: Freedom of Color, Freedom of Monochrome, Children and Ideas, VN-23 attracted 10,330 works by 1,079 participating authors from 32 countries and territories.
Speaking at the ceremony, VAPA Chairwoman Tran Thi Thu Dong said that the exhibition serves as a cultural exchange programme among countries, contributing to further strengthening international solidarity for peace, friendship and development.
The organising board presented 71 prizes to best entries, including four gold medals. Vietnamese photographers won 45 prizes at the event, including the four golds.
The winning photos of the 12th Vietnam International Photography Competition (VN-23) are on display at an open-air exhibition at the Temple of Literature in Hanoi until March 19.
