The festival brings together over 150 booths, offering visitors a wide range of experiential journeys. Within this vibrant atmosphere, the Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám Cultural and Scientific Activity Center proudly introduces a selection of unique souvenirs deeply embedded with historical and cultural values. These include finely crafted items such as vinh quy bái tổ fans, thermos bottles, ceramic mugs, notebooks, and bamboo pens — all bearing characteristic imagery of the historic site.
At “Experiencing Hanoi 2025”, the Center aims to bring heritage closer to the public through the engaging woodblock printing experience. The 82 Doctoral Steles at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám, recognized by UNESCO as a Memory of the World heritage item, represent a rich trove of historical stories, Vietnamese Confucian educational excellence, and Le dynasty sculptural artistry. These souvenirs are not only meaningful gifts for visitors but also serve as a bridge that brings the value of Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám, and Thang Long – Hanoi more broadly, closer to the public.
Visitors experience woodblock printing using designs from the Doctoral Steles at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.
The exhibition space showcases various displays, from traditional craft village products and signature Hanoi cuisine to modern technology applications such as VR, 3D, flycam, and AI. Art performances creatively combine traditional genres like ca trù, xẩm, and chầu văn with contemporary elements, including áo dài fashion shows, lion dances, and street art. Business networking and promotion are enhanced through themed tours, tourism stimulus products, panel discussions on green and sustainable tourism development, and Halal tourism.
The Hanoi cuisine zone is another highlight, featuring iconic dishes like phở, bún chả, and lotus sweet soup, along with innovative culinary offerings. Visitors can also meet and interact directly with artists, artisans, and travel bloggers, and join mini-games to learn more about Hanoi’s culture.
The “Experiencing Hanoi 2025” Tourism Festival occurs from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM, May 30 to June 1, 2025, at the Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center. The Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám Cultural and Scientific Activity Center warmly invites all guests and tourists to visit, experience, and help spread the value of cultural heritage through our booth, and to immerse themselves in a vibrant and richly traditional festival space that embodies the spirit and soul of Hanoi.
