The opening ceremony attracted thousands of attendees, including residents and tourists.

Participating in this year's festival, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam proudly represents one of Hanoi's most iconic destinations – a Special National Monument deeply associated with Vietnam's educational and cultural history. This is a valuable opportunity to promote the site's image and heritage values to domestic and international visitors while introducing a line of signature tourism gifts. These efforts contribute to sustainable tourism development that is aligned with heritage preservation.

The iconic image of the Khue Constellation Pavilion (a prominent feature of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam) was brilliantly showcased on the main stage of the 2025 Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival.

At the booth, visitors can enjoy and explore:

  • Digital transformation tools that enhance the visitor experience, including interactive information systems and heritage interpretation applications.

Visitors eagerly posed for photos with products deeply imbued with the cultural and historical essence of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam.

Inspired by the spirit of learning and knowledge and Hanoi's thousand-year history, the heritage site's gifts include bamboo cups, thermos bottles, pens printed with sacred mascots from the Temple's architecture and Doctoral Steles, "Vinh Quy" fans, notebooks featuring the iconic Khue Constellation Pavilion, study lamps, and more. These items vividly reflect creativity grounded in the rich traditions of Van Mieu.

In addition to offering unique gift items, Van Mieu's information booth provided comprehensive visitor guidance for exploring the heritage site, including details on daytime tours and the special "Van Mieu Night Tour" program.

The calligraphy-giving activity by traditional scholars ("Xin chữ Thầy Đồ") attracted a large number of enthusiastic participants, both locals and tourists. This meaningful cultural practice, deeply rooted in Vietnamese traditions during festive occasions such as Lunar New Year and other holidays, remains a cherished part of national heritage. At Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam, the activity has been well-preserved and strongly promoted, increasing international visitors' attention and appreciation.
