   TOP 35 "CULTURAL AND TOURISM AMBASSADOR 2024" MEET AND EXCHANGE WITH THE TOPIC "THE QUINTESSENCE OF EDUCATION AND CALLIGRAPHY" 

    As part of the final round of the "Cultural and Tourism Ambassador 2024" competition, on the morning of September 17, 2024, at the Thai Hoc House, the special national relic Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám, the organizing committee of the "Cultural Tourism Ambassador 2024" competition held the meeting titled "The Quintessence of Education and Calligraphy".

    This event aims to share and introduce the top 35 finalists of the "Cultural Tourism Ambassador 2024" competition to the quintessence of Vietnamese education and the art of calligraphy. Especially during the event, the contestants were able to watch a calligraphy performance by calligrapher Vũ Thanh Tùng (Xuân Như) and calligrapher Bùi Quang Tuấn.

    Attending the opening ceremony were Dr. Lê Xuân Kiêu - Director of the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám; Mr. Nguyễn Đức Bá - Permanent Deputy Director of the Cultural and Tourism Talent Incubator Project; Dr. Đỗ Trần Phương - Deputy Head of the Tourism Department at the Hanoi University of Culture, and Deputy Director of the project; Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Mai - Faculty of Interdisciplinary Sciences, Vietnam National University, Head of the Project's Media Committee; Dr. Trần Diễm Hằng - Head of the Tourism Department, Hoa Binh University; Master Chu Khánh Linh, Deputy Head of the Executive Department, Tourism Faculty, Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture; along with calligrapher Vũ Thanh Tùng (Xuân Như), calligrapher Bùi Quang Tuấn, and the top 35 finalists of the "Cultural and Tourism Ambassador" competition in 2024.

    Speaking at the event, Mr. Lê Xuân Kiêu - Director of the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám emphasized: "Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám is a representative historical and cultural relic of the capital and the whole country. It preserves the quintessence of Vietnamese education, the tradition of the fondness for study, and the tradition of respecting the teachers and the talents. We hope that the students here will spread the beautiful cultural values, including the value of Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám to international friends and visitors."

    Calligrapher Vũ Thanh Tùng (Xuân Như) shared: "Calligraphy is the art of brush and ink, the art of lines. Calligraphy is one of the things that people need to cultivate to improve themselves."

    The "Cultural and Tourism Talent Incubator 2024" project aims to equip and provide an in-depth knowledge system on cultural, religious, and tourism issues, ... for students studying in tourism and cultural fields at universities across the country. The 35 most outstanding individuals from around the country were chosen from nearly 200 contestants participating in the project to gather together, shine brightly, and represent Vietnamese cultural and tourism in the "Cultural and Tourism Ambassador 2024" competition with the theme: "World Cultural Heritage in Vietnam." The final round of the competition will take place in Trang An, Ninh Binh Province in September 2024.
