EXPERIENCE FOLK COLORS THROUGH THE "FOLK IN GEN Z" ART EXHIBITION AT VĂN MIẾU – QUỐC TỬ GIÁM
On the afternoon of June 30, 2024, the Center forScientific and Cultural Activity Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám, in collaboration with the creative enterprise TiredCity, held the opening ceremony of the art exhibition titled "Folk in Gen Z." This event offers a fresh and creative perspective on Vietnamese folk culture.
To spread the beauty of long-standing folk culture and highlight the contributions of young illustrators in preserving national cultural identity, the exhibition features 39 unique illustrative artworks. These pieces use modern artistic language to skillfully convey and honor the beauty of Vietnamese folk culture, such as Đông Hồ paintings, the art of Hát Bội, and traditional children's rhymes that have been a part of many generations' childhoods.
"Folk in Gen Z" is a simple art exhibition and a testament to the vibrant life of Vietnamese folk culture within the hearts of the younger generation. Gen Z continues innovating upon the foundation of traditional cultural heritage, creating unique artworks that carry solid personal imprints.
