THE LAUNCH OF THE ALBUM "ESSENCE OF EDUCATION"
Evening of 16/01/2024, Activity Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám organized the event to introduce the album "Essence of Education" Vol.1 by Composer Đinh Khánh Ly. The album is an artistic product belonging to the Night Tour at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám
As part of the event, Composer Đinh Khánh Ly performed instrumental pieces featuring traditional Vietnamese musical instruments with the participation of musicians from the band performing at the Night Tour at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám
The entire album consists of 6 instrumental tracks closely related to the 3D mapping film theme "Essence of Education" and uses part of the background music at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám . The core values of Vietnamese Education originate from education within the family, the spirit of learning, and the persistent determination of each Confucian scholar to become a useful person for the nation.
The arrangement is inspired by the song "Phiêu bông trần gian" with the exquisite poetry of the great poet Nguyễn Du, praising the great spirit of ancient Confucian scholars on the path of self-establishment and success.
The segment "Tứ linh huấn tử" praises the four bas-reliefs at the initiation area (Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix) along with the image of a father guiding his child on the path of Confucianism from childhood, nurturing determination through each month and year.
The segment "Essence of Education" opens a special musical door, conveying the teachings, values, and praises of Education by the Vietnamese people through the ages.
The segment "Journey of Education" writes about the journey of a nobleman using the pen to cultivate himself, expand his heart, help people, help the country, and not betray the trust of the predecessors.
The segment "First Color Fragrance" draws inspiration from the soft lines of the lotus flower, the gentle light inside, and the sweet fragrance that the lotus brings. The rustic melody, yet full of sophistication, evokes the elegant and pure appearance of the Vietnamese national spirit.
The segment "Vinh quy bai to" is solemn and proud, dedicated to honoring the new graduates who have successfully passed the exams, bringing glory to the family line and homeland.
