“MỘT MỐI XA THƯ” CALLIGRAPHY EXHIBITION OPENS
The Center of Sienctific and Cultural Activitiy and calligraphy club “Nhân mỹ Học đường” co-hosted the calligraphy exhibition in Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám in hounor of The Teacher’s Day and The Heritage’s Day.

Ms. Trần Thị Vân Anh – The Vice Director of Department of Culture and Sports in Hanoi shared that: “It’s one of 50 events of the Hanoi Design and Creativity Festival 2022. The calligraphy highlights the fact that Vietnam is a unified country whose political and cultural institutions are the same in all regions.

The exhibition displays 100 calligraphic works by 100 calligraphists from across Vietnam and abroad, which honor Vietnam’s tradition of study and respect for teachers and morals. Several historical documents are written in a calligraphic style, including King Ly Thai To's Edict on the Transfer of the Capital, and immortal literary works by poet Nguyen Du, poet Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, scholar Chu Van An, and scholar Ngo Thi Nham.
The organization giving certificate to calligraphists
The calligraphic works feature Vietnamese literary heritages associated with the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam, and several ancient documents written on stone steles, bronze bells, and woodblocks. They make people feel the perennial nature of Vietnamese culture
