CALLIGRAPHY ON FLAGS

"Kill the enemy, Return the King's favour" is calligraphy words written on the flags during the calligraphy-writing performance held on October 4. This activity is part of events during the Calligraphy Exhibition and Festival "Thăng Long-Hà Nội" at Văn Miếu-Quốc Tử Giám. Formerly, These words were also written on the flag that a Vietnamese hero, Trần Quốc Toản took with him in the battles against the Mongol invaders.

In addition, visitors to this event will have the opportunity to learn how to write calligraphy, which is an interesting hands-on experience in the event. Under the guidance of calligraphers, visitors learn how to write simple words in the style of calligraphy.

The exhibition will run until October 10, 2020, so why don’t you take part in and have a hands-on experience for your own?
