On November 15, 2019, a launch to introduce new heritage discovery center and souvenir showroom was organized in Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam. The center is founded in a program of “approaching heritage in a new way”. The Heritage Discovery Center is a place for students or children and tourists to learn about heritage and Vietnamese traditional value from indoor and outdoor activities

The discovery room is designed to carry out the “Heritage-based education programs” that have been implemented by the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam since 2016. The program focuses on interactive activities. Students who come to the relic not only see and listen but also learn through many sources of information. So far, the center has
developed nearly 20 programs that are not only suitable for students of different age groups but also go along with the program these students learn at schools. The 20 programs have different topics including Big tiger going down from mountain, classes of the old times, discover old architecture, to assess the environment around the relic, to learn from stone steles, books and woodblocks, ..each of the topics offers an interesting lesson and has different meanings.
During the launch, a new Souvenir showroom was also introduced. On display are souvenirs that have the images of the relic. They are elaborately designed by craftsmen of traditional craft villages in Hanoi. These products are combination between traditional value( in terms of history, education, architecture, aesthetics) and modern technology and have a variety of uses.
