On April 18th, Uzbekistan Deputy Minister of Culture-Mr. Umidjon Kukonboev visited the Special National Landmark, Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam.

During his visit, Mr. Kukonboev and his delegation listened to the history of the foundation and development of the historic landmark, as well as, details about the buildings and objects. Moreover, he showed a special interest in Vietnamese fondness for learning and the practices of honouring talents.
Particularly, he showed interest in the 82 stone stele at Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam- considered a stone history book, which is recognized as a World Documentary Heritage globally.

On leaving the landmark, Mr. Kukonboev showed his deep respect for Vietnamese cultural and historical values of Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam. Especially, he hoped that these traditional values are always preserved for future generations.
