MINISTER OF EDUCATION, CULTURE, SPORTS, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF JAPAN VISITED VĂN MIẾU – QUỐC TỬ GIÁM
On the afternoon of April 29th, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Mr. Moriyama Masahito, visited the special national relic Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám
The Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, along with the delegation, toured and learned about the history of the relic area. The Minister took particular interest in the 82 doctorate steles, a world documentary heritage, thereby helping the delegation understand more about the Vietnamese tradition of filial piety, respect for teachers, and appreciation of talent.
At the Thai Hoc courtyard, upon hearing the introduction of the background and career of Chu Van An, a sage of the Imperial Academy, Mr. Moriyama Masahito expressed admiration for the talent and virtue of teacher Chu Van An, who devoted his entire life to the cause of education and nurturing people.
At the end of the visit, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan expressed gratitude for the warm welcome extended by the staff of the Center for Scientific l andCultura Activities Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám to the delegation.
