MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS FROM THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND VISITED VĂN MIẾU – QUỐC TỬ GIÁM
During his working visit to Hanoi, on the afternoon of March 16, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Zbigniew Rau, paid a visit to the special national landmark of Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.
The tour guide at the relic introduced the Minister and the delegation to the history and meaning of the architectural buildings there.
The Minister was previously a professor at many famous universities around the world, so he was very interested in the history of education and examinations, as well as the history of Quoc Tu Giam - the first national school in Vietnam. The Minister highly appreciated the tradition of studiousness and the respect for teachers of the Vietnamese people.
After the visit, the Minister expressed his love for Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám and his desire to return to visit and learn more about the relic; a symbol of education and wisdom of the Vietnamese people.
