THE CONFERENCE DELEGATION OF THE ASEAN MINISTERS OF EDUCATION VISITED VĂN MIẾU – QUỐC TỬ GIÁM

    From October 10-14, the 12th conference of ASEAN education ministers, the 6^th conference of the ASEAN+3 education ministers, the 6^th conference of ASEAN – SE Asian education ministers, as well as other relevant senior officials, gathered in Hanoi for their annual conference. On the afternoon of October 13^th, they paid a visit to Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.

    The delegates paid special attention to the 82 stone stelaes – A World Documentary Heritage recognized by UNESCO. These are historical records with more than 300 years of Vietnamese history, proving the tradition of studiousness and respect for the talents of the Vietnamese nation.

    After visiting, the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám presented souvenirs to the representatives of the Ministry of Education from each country. Delegates expressed their gratitude to the respectful welcome from the Center of Scientific and Cultural Activities, Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.
