PRESIDENT OF GREECE VISITED THE SPECIAL NATIONAL LANDMARK VĂN MIẾU – QUỐC TỬ GIÁM
On 16th May, 2022, President of Greece Katerina Sakellaropoulou paid a visite to The Special National Landmark Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.
The President of Greece visited architectural works at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám such as Đại Trung Gate, Khuê Văn Pavilion - the symbol of HaNoi Capital, Dai Thanh sanctuary, and 82 doctor’s stelae, a world documentary heritage and the history of the site. President Katerina Sakellaropoulou was particularly interested in the history of Quốc Tử Giám, considered as the first university in Vietnam.
In front of the statue of Teacher Chu Văn An, President Katerina Sakellaropoulou was very grateful to hear the introduction about the life and career of the great teacher as well as the Vietnamese tradition of respecting for the teacher.
