UK SECRETARY OF STATE FOR DEFENCE HAD A VISIT TO VĂN MIẾU – QUỐC TỬ GIÁM
On the afternoon of July 22, 2021, UK Secretary of State for Defence Mr. Ben Wallace visited the Special National Landmark of Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.
During the visit the Minister was introduced to the history and architecture of the Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám, 82 steles - World Documentary Heritage and the tradition of studious respect for the teachers and the talents of the Vietnamese people.
Minister Ben Wallace was very interested in the ancient architecture here, and especially the long-standing education of Vietnam. He asked many questions about the learning, teachers, and curriculum at Quốc Tử Giám - known as the first university in Vietnam.
At the end of the visit, Uk Secretary of State for Defence Mr. Ben Wallace expressed his wish to return to visit Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử GIám.

The Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử GIám respectfully presented to the Minister the embroidery painting Khue Van Cac - The symbol of Hanoi capital. He expressed that he would come back to visit Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử GIám
