THE VICE CHAIRMAN OF OFFICE OF RUSSIAN FEDERATION SOCIAL AFFAIRS AND PEOPLE’S FRONT FOR RUSSIA VISITED VAN MIEU – QUOC TU GIAM
On the frame of visiting and working in Vietnam, Mr. Viladislay Grib – Vice Chairman and his delegates of Office of Russian Federation Social Affairs and People's Front for Russia visited Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam on December, 19th.

Mr. Vladislav Grib and his delegates were happy when they visited the ancient and meaningful historical site. The delegation listened to Chu Van An’s life and career – the righteous and talented educator of Vietnam. Vice Chairman of Office of Russian Federation Social Affairs and People's Front for Russia showed his admiration of the virtues and talents of Chu Van An. The 206th session of UNESCO Executive Council in Paris, France approved proposals submitted to the General Assembly of UNESCO. UNESCO and Vietnam will commemorate the 650th anniversary of the death of Chu Van An in 2020. This commemoration affirms to the international community, that Vietnam values culture and education as promoted by UNESCO’s mission. Mr. Vladislav Grib congratulated the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam.

At the end of his visit, Mr. Vladislav Grib expressed his appreciation of this unique historical site – the biggest education center which trained thousandsof talents for Vietnam under feudal time.
