SEMINAR ON “DEVELOPING CULTURAL PRODUCTS FOR TOURISM IN THE MUSEUMS AND RELICS IN HANOI DURING THE STAGE OF SAFE AND FLEXIBLE ADAPTATION, AND EFFECTIVE CONTROL OF COVID-19”
With the desire to organize a forum in which cultural and tourism managers, scientists, traveling agents and museums and relics in Hanoi can share experiences in building cultural products for tourism after museums and relics reopen, on November 11, 2021, the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Văn Miếu-Quốc Tử Giám held a seminar "Developing cultural products for tourism in the museums and relics in Hanoi during the stage of safe and flexible adaptation, and effective control of Covid 19".
At the Seminar, many practical ideas were shared by managers from museums and relics. The ideas all mentioned the overcoming of difficulties when museums and monuments are closed for a long time, and the developing of new cultural products that both meet the requirements of visitors and attract tourists.
Giving recommendations for museums and monuments, Dr. Lê Thị Minh Lý said: “Museums and monuments need to diversify cultural products and develop products with their own identity. The products must be based on heritage values. She also emphasized that: “Do not forget the mission of museums and monuments in providing tourists with visual and emotional experiences”. According to her, those who come to museums and relics are people and tourists and especially children - prioritized tourists. Children are the ones who will build our future. Therefore, every museum and monument must promote education, one of the main functions and tasks.

Many ideas of suitable products were also shared by traveling agents during the seminar.
The ideas in the Seminar are a meaningful reference for museums and relics in developing cultural products that better meet the requirements of tourists and help to establish a connection among organizations for the purpose of the sustainable development of tourism in the capital.
