TOP25+5 OF  “DESIGNED BY VIETNAM” COMPETTITION

    Among series of event of Vietnam Design Week 2021 is TOP25+5 exhibition, exposing the excellent art works making by authors and group of authors throughout the country participating in "Designed by Vietnam" competition. The exhibition was hels at Thái Học courtyard of Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám.

    In the beginning of the competition following the theme of "Awaking tradition", there were 183 art works sent by many author in Vietnam and the best 30 art works among them. The most excellent art works chosen carefully to be displayed at the exhibition with five subjects: Communication design, Living design, Decor and Object design, Clothing design, Public design.

    The art works, having the characteristics of national cultural tradition and practical application, making from environmental materials. Some of typical works are Vietmyth, Self-Assuredness, Sắc bộ, Home, Queen chair, get going and Gathering, Ngủ nghê, Nam, Đa, Khứ hồi, Khuê Văn Cá in compressed tea... There are five art works, representing for souvenir of Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám, being chosen by the board of examiners. The competitors discovered and developed and applied the characteristics of historical culture with local materials and the stories now and then and modern city living and the feeling from the nature, guiding the masses to approach the stories of traditions.

    TOP 25+5, exposing at Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám with the silent space and the charscteristics of culture, transmitting to the public from the history's value following a "Awaking tradition" theme of competition

    The exhibition displaying from 27/11/2021 to 03/12/2021 at tiền Đường Housse of Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám and on the website vr360.vietnamdesignweek.com.
