Hessen State (Germany) awards scholarships to outstanding students at The Văn Miếu-Quốc Tử Giám


On June 2, 2020,  the Hessen Scholarship Awarding Ceremony (Germany) was awarded to 93 outstanding Vietnamese students in the 2019 – 2020 school year, at the Thái Học House, The  Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám (Hanoi).

The scholarships were given to 93 outstanding students in Hanoi and other provinces, representing 250 excellent students throughout the country in the 2019 – 2020 school year.  The 250 excellent students include 93 students in Hanoi and surrounding areas, 44 ones in Thai Nguyen province, 40 ones in the Central Vietnam, 24 ones in the  Southeastern Delta and 49 ones in the Mekong Delta.

Over the past 30 years, the Hessen Scholarship Awarding Ceremony has been held by the Ministry of Science and Art of the Hessen State (Germany) and the World University Support Organization (WUS) to give scholarships to outstanding students in Vietnam who lead a hard life but get good results in their studies. The event has a great significance in acknowledging their effort, and strongly encouraging students in their studies, which helps to impulse the development of education, training and scientific research in Vietnam.
