CONFERENCE “CREATIVE DESIGN FROM THE CULTURAL RESOURCE OF HANOI - THE CAPITAL”
On the morning of November 28, at Thái Học house of Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám, Conference “Creative Design From the Cultural Resource of Hanoi - The Capital” organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Vietnam National Institute for Culture and Arts Studies (VICAS) aimed to share the action plan and policy of Hanoi city with the title of "Creative City" in the field of Design by UNESCO. The conference is a part of the program "Vietnam Design Week 2021" (from November 27th to December 3rd).
In October 2019, Hanoi officially became a member of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network globally with the title of "City of Creative Design". Through this conference, Hanoi wishes to receive the ongoing attention and companionship of all stakeholders to realize the vision and goals of sustainable development.
The participants and scientists acknowledged the cultural resources, the utilization of resources for creative design, the solutions for promoting the development of Creative City, that they will access when the city joins UNESCO's Creative Cities Network to have a highly effective action plan. The conference "Creative Design from the Capital's Cultural Resources" is an activity of the Vietnam Design Week 2021, organized by Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with Vietnam National Institute for Culture and Arts Studies (VICAS) together with relevant units, taking place from November 27 to December 3, 2021.
